I hear you I hear you I hear all of you In the silence Every hour a little more Every day so much less My faith is lead by hope But grows in distress I'm the giant out of balance I try to walk, I'm proud to talk You think I'm awake when it's a brain shake Always refusing to step away I just want to play Earthquake with a digital sound Since I forgot the natural bound Get out! I wished to live without offense Get out! I just want to dance

Entrez !!!

The assumption of a better life for Human societies Led us to improve science and technologies But we’ve pushed too far our lust for money, power, and fame Heading toward misery, we’re doomed, end of the game What can we do? What will you do? What can we do? What will you do? What can we do? What will you do? Nothing Without safeguards, nor morals, finance generates abuse Playing with global markets, the wolves of Wall Street got loose Stock traders and state liars Are together hand in hand With corruption and Ponzi schemes They’ll let us die and no one dares to Destroy the system What can we do? What will you do? What can we do? What will you do? What can we do? What will you do? Nothing We all look for a better life But we cross so many lines We all look for a better life It’s a tug of war We rush forward and leave behind Any sense of shame We push, we drive, we force Our footprint of shame We build big blocks everywhere, we’re destroying every mound Pristine forests are shrinking, planet Earth becomes barren ground Personal interests collide and compete, endless growth was a smokescreen As we wipe out species diversity, our egotism is peaking The worst-case scenario Lies ahead in front of us But the seeds of our own destruction Rooted years and years ago Perverted system What can we do? What will you do? What can we do? What will you do? What can we do? What will you do? Nothing We all look for a better life But we cross so many lines We all look for a better life It’s a tug of war We fall from grace, we’re all the same (Un)til the end of our time We push, we drive, we force Our footprint of shame Life’s besieged! Too late We are dead No debate Life’s besieged! Too late We are dead No debate Escalation, escalation Escalation, escalation Who paint the color of despair (and) rev up the engine of hate? Goodbye blue sky, hello concrete We’re little ants, we screwed everything What can we do? What will you do? Escalation, acceleration The worst-case scenario Lies ahead in front of us But the seeds of our own destruction Rooted years and years ago Life’s besieged! Too late We are dead No debate The worst guests Hostages From ourselves Ashamed We all look for a better life Too late We are dead No debate We all looked for a better life For ourselves But our destiny is at war

Shush! I can see your mouth shivering Noiseless scream into nothing All I hear is silence All is silent You're hitting your own walls A room without any doors In a cage like an animal The prey of an insidious evil You’re gonna meet the void (I will crush your voice) and never hear your voice All that swallowed violence (Yell in silence) So Yell! You are pushed to the edge of a cliff But you never asked yourself: what if? You forget your kin and worship who aren’t here Six feet under But don't you worry, you won’t suffer Too late to understand, time for supper No demon wants your fantasies Gathering to bury you The silent ghost of your legacies You feared to look back, didn't you? And now what could you do? Welcome to the seventh Circle You’ve never seen the right way Now feel the harpies tearing you apart for eternity Your screams are all silence This little thing who bites your cheek Seeing in you a useful wreck Don’t you feel that tingling sensation? It’s a demon stinging your neck

So here is mankind Oh, we should have known Their fools are leading the blind And they are all bad to the bone All was fine until they came Like the leopard, they won’t change their spots Our journey down there has come to an end Once we thrived and now we’ll die Today, no choice, we shot the last white giant He roamed starving, one bullet, one hole, then silence Alkebulan’s titans are falling too… one by one The global war for water rages on and expands Around the world, many foresaw this coming Thousands of voices issued severe warnings But in the field, sneaky relentless forces Depleted landscapes with Trojan horses The last giants are marching on Their fate is sealed, foregone Leaving this world, forever gone The last giants are marching on The nightmare is real At full speed, no brakes, we broke the wheel Nations collapsed, we all face a new ordeal Golden years are lost and long forgotten Privacy under attack, we reached rock bottom The last giants are marching on Their fate is sealed, foregone Leaving this world, forever gone The last giants are marching on This is our march, this is the last This is no tale but our swansong God forgive them They crafted pure decay The architects of their own demise This is our march, this is the last This is no tale but our swansong We’ve gone so far that turning back is not an option We carry on into the unknown The last giants are marching on Their fate is sealed, foregone Leaving this world, forever gone The last giants are marching on Critically hybridized In surrogate wombs Refugees demonized Fleeing climatic tombs Science dismissed Inequity denied Fanatic blowing kiss Morally cross-eyed Procreation permit Digital frozen hands Culling the unfit And the list goes on This is our march This is the last This is no tale But our swansong God forgive them, They crafted pure decay The architects of their own demise

about

THE WOLF YOU FEED is a metal band originating from France, which is taking you on a journey through the wilderness of both Nature and Human.

After releasing its first album prophetically entitled “…AND THE WILD RETURNS” in February 2020 before the Covid-19 spread across the world, the band is back in 2022 with “KALISPERA”, a grim, heavy and devious EP with 5 tracks falling in line with its raging and highly praised track ‘He Who Brings Destruction’.

Once more produced by Karim Attoumane (CharlElie Couture, Dormeur, The Etherist, Zuul FX …), mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios (Sepultura, Kreator, Opeth, Leprous, …), and graced by a cover artwork created by the Swedish artist Robert Hakemo, this new EP sees the band collaborating for the first time with national and global renowned metal stars: Etienne Bianchi, the vocalist of the cyber-punk and dystopian Shaârghot, the guitar virtuoso Mattias IA Eklundh (Freak Kitchen, Freak Guitar & Freak Audio Lab) and the amazing vocalist and Swedish Grammy Nominee Björn Speed Strid (Soilwork & Night Flight Orchestra) are appearing on three songs. Goosebumps, earworms and headbanging guaranteed!

THE WOLF YOU FEED is:
Nash Vigier: Lead & backing vocals
Nicolas Garriga: Lead & rhythm guitars
Grégory Breton: Bass guitars & backing vocals
Nicolas Dumant: Drums

Behind the name…
The name of the band comes from the old Native American “Tale of the Two-wolves” whose origin is however still unknown and contested. This tale known across the world, features two wolves that are representing opposite emotions and attitudes and are fighting each other. One wolf is evil, anger, envy, jealousy, sadness, regret, greed, resentment, superiority, arrogance, self-pity and lies, and the other is full all positive feelings and states of mind such as joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, benevolence, empathy, generosity, compassion and truth.

This story has several epilogues that we let you find out but in the context of the band, this name reflects its desire to freely write and play different kind of songs, regardless of the music genre, whether they are bright, optimistic and joyful or melancholic, dark and brutal, whether they are straight, epic or progressive. The Wolf You Feed’s first album laid down the cornerstones and this first EP is already shaking the foundation…
